Job Description
Individual contributors who provide support services to complete daily business activities (e.g. administrative, clerical, technical, production or trade levels.) The majority of time is spent in the delivery of services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside of this career track typically require experience, additional education, and/or licensure/certification. This job family coordinates, integrates, and administers a range of diverse administrative or staff functions.
Areas of responsibility include delivering administrative and related support services to the organization; managing reception, greeting guests/visitors, issuing security passes, receiving and relaying telephone messages from internal and external sources; providing office mailroom support; vehicle fleet administration; document management; managing, planning, repairing, and maintaining the organization's facilities and assets; maintaining buildings, facilities, and grounds in clean/hygienic condition; ensuring safety and security of the organization's employees, clients, visitors and property;
and managing the operations of the library network and associated services. Positions in this sub-family are responsible for the maintenance, operations and security of facilities and office spaces to accommodate user departments and company objectives. Provides ongoing support for facility systems maintenance and modifications, including HVAC, power distribution, and process water systems. Develops and implements schematic layouts for facility/office moves, modifications, and additions.
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; inspects buildings, equipment, and access points.
Summary
Clean and organize the Central Machine Shop tool crib in accordance with the manager's input, including written and verbal instructions. Must be able to lift 50# aided or unaided. Work hours will be Monday – Thursday, 6:30am – 4:00pm with a 1⁄2-hour unpaid lunch, Friday, 6:30am – 10:30am.
