Job Summary:The Purchasing Administrator’s job is to accurately maintain the company’s house plan cost data, disseminate labor and material purchase orders, and to enhance the operational efficiency of the purchasing and production departments. The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, have strong communication skills, and have the ability to solve problems.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Create and issue budgets and purchase orders
- Setup and maintain product cost data
- Identify and champion systematic and operational improvement opportunities
- Work with varying stakeholders to resolve budget issues and provide budget reports as needed
- Review job costs and conduct construction variance reviews
- Distribute change order information
- Facilitate and issue Variance Purchase Orders
- Assist vendors and trade partners with day-to-day access, administration, and use of the Trade Partner Portal
Education/Experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in data management helpful
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, web-based applications)
