The Program Assessment and Data Specialist reports to the Senior Director of Career and Professional Development(CPD) andprovidescoordination forallassessments,reporting, anddataanalysis– including, butnotlimited to,the First Destination Survey,Administrative Unit Assessment Reports ,College Engagement reports,satisfaction surveys, targeted program assessments,andtheCPDAnnual
Report.
Thespecialistconsultswith CPD leadership and key campus partners toensure sound data analysis andto createsustainableprocessesfor data sharing.
The Program Assessment and Data Specialistservesas Career and Professional Development’s primary liaison to Virginia Tech’s Business and Management Systems (BAMS) and Analytics and Institutional Effectiveness(AIE)– the units providing IT/career technology support and data access and analysis support to CPD, respectively.
Thespecialistalsoworksalongside otherrelevantpersonnel toestablishbest practices andensure effective usage of CPD’scustomer relationship management platform (CRM),Handshake, as well asother career technology platforms.
