we are looking for a talented, motivated architect ready to lead projects through all phases from concept to construction administration. in this role, you will balance design expertise, project management, and team leadership to deliver high-quality, sustainable spaces on time and on budget.

$60,000 - $85,000 annually
Key Responsibilities- project leadership: oversee multiple projects through all design and construction phases, managing schedules, budgets, and team resources.
- collaboration & coordination: lead multidisciplinary teams (architects, engineers, contractors) and work directly with clients to translate their vision into actionable plans.
- site & design execution: conduct regular site visits, monitor progress, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure compliance with design intent and building codes.
- client engagement: facilitate client meetings, workshops, and presentations to share design proposals and incorporate feedback.
- culture & innovation: stay current on industry trends and bring a collaborative, continuous-improvement mindset to our office.
- experience: 3–5 years in architecture with a track record of managing projects of varying scales.
- licensure: virginia architect license preferred, or actively on the path to licensure.
- technical & design proficiency: skilled in revit, with a strong background in building codes and sustainable design principles.
- pm readiness: comfortable stepping into a project manager role on smaller projects while contributing to production on larger ones.
- soft skills: exceptional communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills; a natural team motivator who builds great client relationships.
- growth: potential future partnership / ownership opportunities within the firm.
- compensation: 60,000 - 85,000 based on experience and qualifications plus paid time off (pto).
