Position: Assistant Director for Undergraduate Academic Integrity for Educational Initiatives

Job Description

The Office of Undergraduate Academic Integrity is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Academic Integrity for Educational Initiatives. The position is an integral part of our efforts to support and promote a culture of honesty and integrity. The Assistant Director will function independently with a thorough understanding of the purpose, policies, and procedures associated with responding to student disciplinary matters.

This role will lead, implement, and oversee strategies designed to educate the campus community under the direction of the Director of Undergraduate Academic Integrity, while maintaining a direct working relationship with other key stakeholders at the University. Occasional night and weekend work may be required.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in student development, counseling, educational leadership, public administration, communication, English or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of best practices in academic integrity.
  • Experience working with faculty in a higher education environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate at the highest levels of the university.
  • Strong written, oral, organizational, management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service experience in an academic or professional office environment.
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and timely decision-making practices to accomplish organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in higher education with faculty outreach, student conduct, housing and residence life and/or a role that requires extensive collaboration between academic and student affairs.
  • Experience teaching or advising within an academic program in higher education.
