Montgomery County Public Schools is accepting applications for a Connections Before/After School Instructional Aide position at Price's Fork Elementary School. The Aide assists the Connections program coordinator by working with elementary‑aged students on educational and enrichment activities. The position requires both before‑school and after‑school hours on MCPS school days and additional hours on non‑school days. The Aide will work up to 25 hours per week during the school year and may work additional hours on non‑school days or during summer as needed.

• Assist the Connections program coordinator in planning and executing educational and enrichment activities for elementary students.
• Support students during before‑school and after‑school care periods.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and accommodate additional hours on non‑school days or summer.

• Successful completion of an associate degree, 48 semester hours of college from an accredited institution, or a passing score on the Para‑Professional Assessment Exam.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical strength.
• Ability to cooperate with other staff members.
• Adaptability to changes in the work environment.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Ability to respond to emergencies in support of students and school operations.
• Physical ability to repeatedly lift heavy objects (20+ lbs.) as needed.
• Willingness to support school functions and community activities as necessary.

Salary: $17.00 – $29.81 per hour, depending on experience. FLSA Status:
Non‑exempt. Position Type:
Part‑time.
