Electronics Engineer, Electronics Design Engineer – Moog Space and Defense Group

Reporting to:
Manager, Electrical Engineering

Work Schedule:

Onsite – Blacksburg, VA

• Develop new technology, products, and processes to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Work with high‑level personnel from Moog, customers, and vendors.
• Design electronics hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials.
• Conduct electronics hardware level integration and test.
• Support multiple aspects of technical project planning, including designs, proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and technical interface meetings throughout the program lifecycle.
• Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements.
• Develop engineering test requirements and unit/subsystem/system test plans.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its creative technical reputation.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree.
• 3+ years of electronics hardware design and development experience.
• Experience designing PCB boards involving microprocessors and data communication.
• Familiarity with optical systems and design.
• Control systems analysis and design experience.

Blacksburg, VA: $85,000.00–$ annually.

This position requires access to U.S. export‑controlled information.
