Work is located onsite in Blacksburg, VA within the Moog Space and Defense Group, which supports U.S. military priorities and NASA’s deep space exploration programs.

• Work with and maintain confidential information.
• Perform cost analysis of manufacturing data.
• Aid in cycle time updates.
• Support new opportunities for cost reduction and production efficiency.
• Maintain best practices and prepare analysis of actual vs. budget hours.
• Recommend operating practices to improve efficiencies and participate on cross‑functional teams.
• Use understanding of manufacturing business processes to support capacity planning.
• Work in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree. Industrial Engineering, Business Information Technology, or Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred.
• 0–3 years of relative work experience in an Industrial Engineering role is preferred.
• Personal computer experience and working knowledge of database infrastructure and enterprise information systems software.
• Experience with statistical and continuous improvement tools, cost improvements, removing bottlenecks, and root‑cause analysis.
• Skills in interacting and communicating at all organizational levels.
• Analytical and project management skills.
• Experience pulling data queries and performing analysis in Microsoft Excel.

Salary Range Transparency:
Blacksburg, VA $65,000.00–$80,000.00 Annually. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. This position requires access to U.S. export‑controlled information.
