The ideal candidate will be responsible for research and development activities to understanding materials-process-structure-property-performance relationship and making advancements. Selected candidate will work in a team-oriented environment that accelerates adaptation of Solid Stir Manufacturing Technologies.
Responsibilities- Identify implementation barriers in application of the technology
- Propose, secure and lead materials and process related projects to develop solutions to advance the technology
- Collect and summarize literature in the field of research
- Contribute to team building
- Prepare and present technical presentation in a most professional manner
- US personnelonly
- Hands on Experience with 5+ years of Solid Stir or Friction Stir related technologies
- Experience 5+ years of experience with modeling and simulation of solid-phase processing.
- Being able to conceive new ideas, develop proof of concept experimentation and build team to commercialize.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and hands-on skills.
- Program and people management
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build new collaboration
- Ph.D. in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in writing scientific papers, proposals and reports.
