Senior Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Delivery Lead to lead complex enterprise web modernization and digital transformation initiatives for large-scale clients. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between executive stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams, overseeing all aspects of project execution including scope, schedule, budget, resource management, risk mitigation, and organizational change management. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Agile software delivery, enterprise website migrations, and client-facing consulting environments, with the ability to proactively identify risks, drive strategic decision-making, and communicate complex technical concepts to executive audiences.

This role will lead multidisciplinary teams through multi-phase web modernization efforts while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives. Must live in VA, NC or TN to work remotely. Salary ranges from 100K-120k.

• PMP Certification (required)
• 7+ years of project or product management experience leading complex technology projects in a client-facing, consulting, or agency environment
• Proven experience leading enterprise web modernization, website redesign, digital transformation, or platform migration initiatives
• Strong expertise with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
• Advanced experience using Jira and Jira Advanced Plans for roadmap creation, dependency management, capacity planning, and release tracking
• Demonstrated success managing project budgets, forecasting costs, and maintaining project profitability
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including developers, architects, designers, analysts, and product owners
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise executive-level clients
• Experience identifying, mitigating, and communicating project risks throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business-focused communication
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience Agile certifications such as CSM, CSPO, or PMI-ACP
• Experience administering or configuring Jira and Confluence environments
• Experience with Digital Experience Platforms (DXP)
• Sitecore experience, including XM Cloud, Headless Sitecore, or Sitecore AI solutions
• Understanding of modern web architectures, cloud-hosted applications, APIs, and headless CMS platforms
• Experience leading projects involving design systems, component libraries, or atomic design methodologies
• Healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated industry experience
• Prior experience within a digital agency or consulting organization
• Experience supporting organizational change management and enterprise technology adoption initiatives
