- Develop and coach employees to provide amazing client experiences.

- Be directly responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, sanitation, and organization of the salon.
- Manage salon staffing levels to ensure employee development and meet operational requirements.
- Adhere to applicable wage and hour laws for non‑exempt team members and minors.
- Use operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the salon (labor guidelines, reports, cash management, and inventory management).
- Utilize financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in salon performance.
- Regularly conduct performance assessments, provide feedback, and set challenging goals to improve sales performance.
- Manage ongoing sales.
- Work varying numbers of mid and closing shifts each week as determined by supervisors based on business trends and staffing needs.
- College education preferred, but not required.
- Management and/or sales experience required.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast‑paced environment, handling multiple concurrent situations.
- Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
- Strong problem‑solving and organizational/planning skills.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor while having knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
- Team‑building skills.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions (dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.).
