Rental Car Agent / Parts Associate

Duncan Ford is a trusted name in the automotive industry, known for excellent customer service and quality support. We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our team in a dual-role position supporting our rental department and parts counter.

Position Overview:

This position combines responsibilities as a Rental Car Agent and Part Sales Associate. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Rental Car Duties:

• Assist customers with rental vehicle reservations, check-ins and check-outs, billing, collecting payments and verifying customer information.
• Inspect vehicle before and after rental for condition and accuracy.
• Maintain rental agreements and insure proper documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any rental-related concerns.

Parts Associate Duties:

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock.
• Complete special order part requests for the customer.
• Communicate with the customer on part status.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry.

Position Requirements:

• Effective analytical and communication skills.
• Strong reading, computer and mathematics skills.
• Ability to learn new technology.
• Positive friendly attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Clean driving record.
