Job Summary
Provides operational support and assists in the supervision of employees in a large, high-volume, centralized bakery that services a university franchised Dunkin Donuts and other Dining Services facilities. Responsibilities include coordination of food production, supervision, quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction, safety and sanitation, and the use of an automated food management system. Assists with inventory management including weekly inventories, stock rotation, receipt of goods, storage, packing and shipping of products.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate food production and supervise employees in a large, high-volume, centralized bakery.
- Maintain quality control and ensure customer satisfaction, safety and sanitation.
- Use an automated food management system and manage inventory: weekly inventories, stock rotation, receipt of goods, storage, packing and shipping of products.
- Previous experience and knowledge of supervision principles, baking, food service production, and large quantity cooking using standard recipes and procedures.
- Experience operating general and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safe food handling practices, and food sanitation.
- Ability to communicate, work in a team environment, measure and perform basic math functions, and work quickly and efficiently.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using computers including Windows, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and automated food management systems.
- Serv Safe and HACCP certifications.
Pay Band: 2.
Salary: $38,480/year, minimum pay position.
Hours per week: 40.
