Job Description

We’re currently searching for a Coordinator to join our Residential Well‑being team in Blacksburg, VA to help us in our mission. Responsibilities- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Team‑oriented and demonstrate adaptability and initiative.
- Demonstrate vision and creativity in program design and promotion, as well as strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and embrace change as an opportunity for creativity, learning, and improvement.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with campus‑wide engagement and strategic planning.
- Creativity in identifying, brainstorming, implementing, and evaluating programs and services to build welcoming communities that foster belonging.
- Ability to respond effectively to crises.
- Experience working with students in a complex, educational setting.
- Base compensation: $44,000–$46,000 with furnished apartment, or $50,000–$52,000.
- Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid leave, retirement plan, tuition assistance, and VT discounts.
Overtime Status:
Exempt (Not eligible for overtime).
Appointment Type:
Regular.
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm with evening meetings weekly and on‑call throughout the month.
Hours per week: 40.
