Assistant Controller

We're partnering with a growing, established company looking to add an Assistant Controller to their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and partnering with leadership in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process.

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting schedules.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.

• Develop and improve accounting procedures and operational processes.

• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and strengthen financial reporting.

• Assist with external audits and year-end reporting.

• Partner with leadership on accounting and operational initiatives.

• Manage special projects and provide backup support across the accounting team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close responsibilities.

• Previous experience as an Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar role preferred.

• Strong ERP system experience.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
