Grades K-2 Elementary Special Education Licensed Staff at Hidden Valley Elementary

Description

Special Education teachers' duties include student intervention support, classroom support, and small group instructional support. The ALC grades K-2 summer program is at Hidden Valley Elementary school, and grades 3rd-5th are at Eagle Ridge Middle school. Calendar and schedule follow.

Daily Schedule

Approximately 7:30 am – 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

  • June 10 and 11 – Teacher PD Days (8:00‑4:00)

    June 29‑July 2
  • Week 4:
    July 6‑9
  • Week 5:
    July 13‑16
  • Week 6:
    July 20‑23
  • Week 7:
    July 27‑30
Student Schedule
  • Bus Drop off: 7:30‑7:45
  • Breakfast: 7:30‑8:00
  • Lunch: 11:15‑12:30
  • Bus Pick Up: 2:45‑3:00
  • Student Class: 8:00‑2:45
Requirements
  • Current SPED Teaching License
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference given to candidates committing to the entire six weeks
  • Job shares may be possible depending on schedule and need
  • Experience teaching elementary summer school
  • Experience with Project-Based Learning at the elementary level
  • Experience utilizing data to inform instruction
Rate of Pay

Per contract, $32.25 hourly. Total teacher pay for the school summer program is approximately $7,288 for 30 days. Summer hours are not guaranteed and may be reduced based on enrollment.
