The role supports the 2026 IMA Boot Camp for PhD students in mathematics, fully remote, June 22–July 31, 2026. Session lengths vary from 1 to 6 weeks.
Responsibilities- Prepare topic‑specific lectures for the camp.
- Provide detailed lecture notes.
- Develop homework problems and projects.
- Respond to student emails and hold office hours.
Required:
- PhD in mathematical sciences or a closely related field.
Preferred:
- Experience delivering lectures remotely.
- Experience in quantitative fields such as machine learning, data science, etc.
Weekly pay is $2,000‑$2,500, depending on education, qualifications, and experience.
Retirement plan options are available for Civil Service, Faculty, Labor‑Represented, Professional, Administrative, and Temp Casual classifications.
