Job Title

Special Ed Paraprofessional (CIP site‑based program) – Afton‑Lakeland Elementary – 6.5 hours/day

Special Education Paraprofessional will provide instructional and behavioral support for students with special needs. Transferring/lifting of students may be required. Preferred candidate will have experience working with special needs students.

To be considered Highly Qualified within 10 days of first day of work, you must have one of the following:

• A Bachelor's Degree
• An Associate’s Degree
• 60+ credits of post‑secondary education
• A passing score on the Para Pro Exam

Please be prepared to submit documentation including transcripts or Para Pro Exam report.

We can offer a strictly limited 10‑day grace period to submit the necessary documents or pass the Para Pro Exam. Stillwater Area Public Schools will pay for you to take the Para Pro Test if you take it through the Harmony Learning Center. If you are unable to furnish highly qualified documents or pass the test within the 10‑day period, your employment will be terminated.

You are welcome to re‑apply once you have passed the test.

6.5 hours per day, Monday‑Friday (student contact days).
