Job Summary
Provide Quality Engineering support and leadership for assembly operations teams at the Polaris facility. Assignments will involve both proactive and reactive solutions to address quality issues affecting internal ATV manufacturing. This individual will be responsible for managing the quality, employees, and assigned processes for all related aspects of these areas.

- Support Polaris quality initiatives and programs as required.
- Lead and support Quality auditors and Technicians on assembly quality issues.
- Participate or lead failure analysis, root cause and corrective action investigations.
- Manage and report on internal process quality metrics; identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead improvement initiatives.
- Communicate process issues/problems/concerns to Quality and Operations leadership.
- Generate quality instructions and/or procedures as needed to contain quality issues or to assist with process validations.
- Partner directly with the Operations teams to improve the use of measurement systems.
- Conduct and/or support inner audits and product transfers as needed.
- Perform process capability studies.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Process Engineering or equivalent field required.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lead technicians in inspection methods for assembly quality processes.
- Strong process improvement skills (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Control Plans, Print reading skills).
- Experience and knowledge of how to properly read and decipher GD&T.
- Leadership experience with hourly employees.
- Must be a self‑starter and able to work independently without supervision.
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Operations or related field required; advanced degree preferred.

- Standard manufacturing/plant environment, with a strong plant‑floor presence.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10 percent of time – travel can fluctuate according to business need.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $73,000 to $96,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
