Location:
Hybrid opportunity in the Minneapolis, MN metro area; seeking local candidates
Salary Range: $115-130k/yr. base salary (dependent on experience)

Roles & Responsibilities- Execute project accounting in accordance with division accounting policies, including proper revenue recognition
- Support general ledger activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP
- Play a key role in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, forecasting, and planning
- Manage percentage-of-completion accounting within ERP systems, including EAC adjustments and revenue recognition
- Partner with FP&A and business leadership to support financial reporting, variance analysis, and board materials
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve close processes and drive automation
- Support budget and forecast development, including ERP uploads and financial modeling
- Develop profitability models and KPIs to monitor business and project performance
- Partner with sales and project teams to improve contract terms, including cash flow and receivables
- Drive improvements in close timelines, with a focus on achieving a 5-day close and timely reporting
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Analyze and communicate accounting implications related to project and revenue transactions
- Support audit processes, including year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, FP&A, project management, and business leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within project accounting or a similar environment
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global organization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
