CSR - Customer Service Representative; Float

This position provides a full range of banking services to individual customers and commercial clients as well as providing support to branch staff. This individual would float between our branch locations in Monticello, Princeton, and Becker.

• Assist answering phones in within the three-ring expectation.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• 80% of your daily tasks are maintaining and retaining new and existing customers by opening accounts and processing requested revisions to existing accounts.
• Opening new consumer or business deposit accounts including checking, savings, CD's, IRA's, and HSA's;
  Cross selling and promoting bank products and services by recognizing and understanding customer's needs; informing customers of new services and product promotions; ascertaining customers' needs; and/or directing customers to a branch representative.
• Completes special requests by closing accounts; taking orders for checks; providing special statements, copies, and referrals; completing safe-deposit box procedures.
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state banking regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering/CIP (US Patriot Act). Report suspected non-compliance with regulations and related policies to the Compliance Officer.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential.
• Provide extraordinary customer service by conducting business in a professional, friendly manner and building long-term customer relationships.
• Provide a 24 hour turn around on voicemails and correspondence.
• 10% will be processing customer experience transactions/services on the teller line.
• Provides account services to customers by accepting and verifying deposits and loan payments; cashing checks; issuing withdrawals; processing cash advance transactions; recording night and mail deposits; selling cashier's checks; assisting with debit cards and internet banking; completing telephone transfers; answering questions face-to-face or on telephone; referring to other bank services as needed.
• Assists with balancing and maintaining currency in the teller cash recyclers and ATMs.
• Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions; counting and packaging currency and coins; turning in mutilated currency to the Lead Customer Experience Banker; maintaining supply of cash and currency in cash recycle machine and/or vault.
• Complies with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions; maintaining customer traffic; auditing other tellers' currency when there are discrepancies; assisting in certification of proof.
• Perform opening and closing duties at the branch location as needed. Provide coverage for the teller line on Saturdays as needed.
• 10% of your daily tasks will consist of special projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
