. This is a PRN night shift opportunity.
We are looking to hire an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Responsibilities:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with breathing disorders
- Administering respiratory therapies
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Monitoring and managing mechanical ventilators for patients who require respiratory support
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Providing patient education and support on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changes
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient assessments, treatments, and progress documentation
Registered Respiratory Therapist Education & Credential Requirements:
- Associate of Science Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred
- Or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred
- Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist Required-DOH
