The Medical Services Clinic Coordinator provides operational leadership and administrative oversight for the MN Veterans Home Provider/Medical Services Clinic. The Provider/Medical Services Clinic provides primary care services, with plans for expansion to other specialty services such as behavioral health/psychiatry. This role ensures that all operations, provider activities, and administrative workflows function efficiently, safely, and in compliance with state, federal, and VA regulatory standards.

This position is responsible for credentialing, regulatory visit management, provider scheduling, telehealth operations, contract oversight, and clinic workflow optimization, ensuring that all Veterans receive timely, high-quality primary care services across all MN Veterans Homes.

This position requires a strong understanding of clinic operations, provider onboarding, third party insurance enrollment/credentialing/billing, EHR workflows, revenue cycle fundamentals, and long-term care regulatory requirements. The position will serve as the central operational hub connecting providers, facility leadership, Healthcare Central Office, and external partners to support a high-performance, compliant, and resident-centered provider clinic.

  • Two (2) years of experience coordinating clinical medical services in provider clinic settings which demonstrates experience in the following:
    • * Oversight of revenue cycles/billing and management
    • In a clinic, long term care or provider services setting
  • Knowledge of credentialing, Medicare and healthcare reimbursement regulations / systems.
  • Knowledge of compliance tracking and policy implementation.
  • Ability to travel to all Minnesota Veteran Home locations.
  • Strong communication skills and human relation skills sufficient to coordinate clinical medical services with other departments as well as to work cooperatively with various work groups in resolving resident care issues and overall clinical programming.

    Note:

    A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business administration or a closely related field may substitute one year of experience
