Summary | Objective
Line Operator I is accountable for producing the highest quality Anodize finish product possible while meeting production goals. This role is also responsible for line maintenance and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities | TASKS YOU DO TO ACHIEVE THE ACCOUNTABILTIES
- Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded
- Continuously monitor each step of the anodizing process for quality of parts
- Responsible for start-up/shut down of Anodize lines while using checklist documents
- Communicate with the other operators on the line as to operating conditions, dye mixture, special problems, etc., that occurred during the shift
- Operate the hoist throughout the workday and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Responsible for monitoring tanks and assuring the line is operational prior to the start of the shift
- Check with the Anodize manager daily as to extra duties for the next day's shift
- Obtain color samples from the cabinet and return samples once the work is completed
- Remain on the line throughout the shift to monitor the process, parts, baths, etc.
- Maintain a clean line, free of clutter. Store equipment properly
- Must work to keep up with line maintenance using Tru-chem schedule and pass along email needs to other shifts on what help is needed
- Notify the Anodize department manager of any necessary maintenance repairs that are needed
- Properly complete required paperwork, line log, Nadcap paperwork etc.
- Keep up to date with required training within the LMS system
- Individuals must hold first aid and CPR certification as part of the safety program's confined space initiative,
- Complete training of emergency evacuation of team members from confined spaces and perform as needed
- Perform all required tank maintenance and keeps accurate documentation
- Follow proper safety procedures such as wearing Personal Protective Equipment including safety glasses, gloves, respirators or other as needed
- Manage tank time to maximize loads per shift meeting or exceed dept. goals
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be a Citizen of the United States of America or have a current Green Card
- General knowledge of anodize terminology
- General computer skills and the ability to work with basic computer programs
- Ability to balance workload effectively and stay organized
- Ability to read and understand processes, procedures, and instructions
- Ability to work and collaborate with others respectfully and professionally
- Ability to be dependable and punctual, work overtime as needed
- Must be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as a team
- Lift up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. on occasion
- Ability to use hand tools requiring using fine dexterity and precision
- Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, and bending for up to 10 hours as the position requires
- Ability to withstand occasional odors and high decibel sounds

Work EnvironmentThis position location is on the production floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and noise levels that are typically moderate.
