In this role, you will create, edit, and validate CMM, Romer, and Micro‑Vu programs while supporting engineering and operations to ensure world‑class quality standards are achieved and maintained.

What You’ll Do
  • Create, edit, and review CMM (PC‑DMIS), Romer, and Micro‑Vu (Inspec) programs.
  • Run CMM, Romer, and Micro‑Vu equipment in a production environment to prove out programs and troubleshoot issues.
  • Interpret technical drawings, GD&T, 3D models (STEP/IGES), and customer specifications.
  • Perform Gage R&R and correlation studies.
  • Design and assist in developing quality inspection fixtures.
  • Support engineering in identifying inspection equipment, tools, and gauges.
  • Assist with non‑conformance investigations and corrective actions.
  • Train operators and inspectors on CMM programs and inspection best practices.
  • Maintain quality documentation and records in compliance with procedures.
  • Participate in internal, customer, and certification audits.
  • Contribute to Lean initiatives and 5S standards to improve efficiency and eliminate waste.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
  • Experience programming and operating CMM systems (PC‑DMIS preferred)
  • Experience with Romer arms and Micro‑Vu systems a plus
  • Knowledge of Gage R&R and measurement system analysis
  • Ability to troubleshoot measurement and manufacturing non‑conformances
  • Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

    This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All employees must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Additional Skills and Experience (Preferred or helpful)
  • Experience working in the Aerospace, Medical or other highly regulated industry
  • AS9100, ISO 13485, and NADCAP experience
  • Working knowledge and understanding of statistical process control applications and interpretation of results.
  • Experience with CNC machining

Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors related to the specific position. These may include skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
