Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, we are searching for a CNC Machine Operator for our Fabrication Department. This position plays a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives. Trystar’s CNC Machine Operator position is an important part of Trystar’s plan to become the world’s foremost custom solution provider.

The CNC Machine Operator proficiently operates a manual lathe & mill, CNC mill, laser welder, end mill, and drill press. Has knowledge of G and M codes. Has strong problem‑solving skills, and high attention to detail. CNC Machine Operator will have knowledge and experience with a wide variety of hand tools.

In this role you will get to:
  • Machine Setup:
    Prepare and set up CNC machines by loading the appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials. Ensure the machine is properly calibrated and aligned for precise operation.
  • CNC Program Use:
    Modify, or load CNC programs into the machine's control system, specifying the dimensions, shapes, and tolerances required for the specific components.
  • Material Handling:
    Load and secure raw materials onto the machine's worktable, ensuring proper positioning and alignment for accurate machining.
  • Machining Operations:
    Operate CNC machines to perform milling, turning, drilling, or other machining processes, following the programmed instructions.
  • Quality Control:
    Conduct regular inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify accuracy and quality.
  • Tool Maintenance:
    Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC tools and replace worn or damaged cutting tools to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process, such as tool wear, material irregularities, or machine malfunctions.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating the CNC machines, ensuring compliance with company and industry safety regulations.
  • Production Monitoring:
    Monitor the machining process to maintain a steady workflow and promptly address any deviations or inefficiencies.
  • Documentation:
    Accurately record production data in Epicor, machine settings, and maintenance activities to maintain production records and assist in process improvement efforts. This also includes daily production reports, tally sheets, scrap reports, etc.
