Job Overview
We’re looking for entry‑level and skilled Assembly Operators to work the weekend shift in a state‑of‑the‑art facility. The role involves assembling, filling, kitting, preparing, labeling, and packaging product components according to written work instructions.
Shift HoursWeekend Shift: 6:00AM – 6:30PM
Responsibilities- Work individually or as part of a team to assemble, fill, kit, prepare, label, and/or package an entire product or component of a product according to Work Instructions.
- Complete work based on specifications, drawings, job routings, and/or Work Instructions.
- Select and move production materials as required.
- Maintain equipment and materials necessary to complete the operation.
- Meet established safety, quality, and performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
- Record accurate information on Manufacturing Order and perform transactions necessary to maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
- Comply with all applicable safety procedures, quality specifications, and 5S Standards.
- Report adverse conditions, non‑conforming products/procedures, and 5S violations to the department leader in accordance with the escalation procedure.
- Adhere to department 5S standards daily.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Notify the team leader or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning safety, quality, equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.
- Demonstrate flexibility by performing rotational assignments as needed.
- Participate actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- Knowledge in the use of scales (preferred).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (preferred).
- Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints (preferred).
- Experience assembling mechanical parts into a finished product (preferred).
- Experience in using hand and power tools (preferred).
- Prior experience working in a light industrial facility (preferred).
Starting hourly pay is up to $20.75+ with overtime opportunities. Compensation range: $14.80 – $27.50 per hour, depending on the position offered.
