The Boxer inspects packages, assembles and fills boxes and stacks filled cases on pallets.

• Attaches identification labels to boxes.
• Places specified number of products in container.
• Counts items packed to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Passes filled boxes through tape machine.
• Checks boxes for correct labeling and damage.
• Loads pallets with filled boxes.
• Monitors and records temperatures of product.
• Draws random samples according to quality assurance specifications.
• Disassembles and reassembles the production line and equipment as necessary for cleaning.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, tools and work area per Standard Sanitation Operating Procedure (SSOP).
• Cleans equipment according to company standards.
• Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Non-exempt at $20.09 to $24 per hour.

Three to six months of food manufacturing experience.

• Knowledge of production processes, food safety and quality controls typically required in a food manufacturing environment.

• Ability to count by multiples of 2s and 3s.

• Ability to compare written information from work order to what is printed on the case.
• Ability to interpret simple written instructions and follow established procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with coworkers.

• Employee regularly bends or leans at waist level.
• Employee regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle packages and reach with hands and arms.
• Employee occasionally required to climb or balance.
• Employee occasionally required to stoop, kneel and crouch.
• The employee lifts and carries objects up to 5 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
