Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.

Understand task specifications and desired results by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Translate instructions into computer commands for machine operation.

Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto CNC machines.

Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.

Test machine operation periodically to guarantee smooth running.

Maintain machinery, perform routine checks, and troubleshoot issues.

Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment.

Keep accurate records of operational data for documentation purposes.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in the engineering industry.

Proficiency in using Mill, 5 Axis, machining, tooling, or equivalent equipment.

Excellent knowledge of metal properties and other materials.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.

Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.

Attention to detail and results‑driven approach.

Good communication abilities.

A vocational training or apprenticeship completion is an advantage.

Professional certification (e.g., NIMS) is a plus.
