Production Manager, Operations Management

This is a weekend shift that will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6AM - 6PM.
Responsibilities- Directly lead production employees, including training, directing, conducting performance reviews, educating, and mentoring on performance.
- Look after day‑to‑day production activities to ensure that current commitments are achieved while improvements are being made.
- Handle daily performance through the use of process center communication boards.
- Be a change agent and drive out waste throughout the manufacturing operation through the deployment of Lean methodology.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions, and supporting nVent's safety programs.
- Review and submit payroll hours on a weekly basis, entering exception hours as needed.
- Support new process and product development and implementation.
- Develop key improvement projects and fulfill related duties as needed.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ideally 3+ years manufacturing experience, with a preference for manufacturing leadership experience.
- Ideally 2+ years of experience in Lean manufacturing, with a strong ability to articulate and apply Lean concepts and methodologies.

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $62,900.00 – $
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
