AA Buyer, LLC – Ascential Medical & Life Sciences

Responsibilities
  • Lead the assembly, wiring, and testing of highly complex electro‑mechanical systems, ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards.
  • Fit and assemble components according to specifications and test for conformance to specification and operation:
    • Align components for assembly and assemble parts using hand tools.
    • Verify conformance of parts to prints using measuring instruments.
    • Assemble, set up and operate machines to verify functioning, machine capabilities and conformance.
    • Form and fasten pneumatic and hydraulic lines, fixtures and attachments required to service machines with air, water and oil.
    • May install wiring and electrical components to specifications.
  • Debug assemblies and machines by identifying and correcting problems affecting proper operation.
  • Fabricate and modify parts as required:
    • Layout hole locations: drill and tap holes on parts for assembly.
    • Set up and operate metalworking machines to fabricate or modify parts.
  • Complete routing and plumbing to junction boxes, maintain electrical panels and terminals:
    • Fabricate brackets for mounting boxes.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues in the assembly process, providing guidance to other team members.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and modify electrical systems as appropriate:
    • Use electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter, scope meters, and AC/DC probes to assess problems and make any required changes.
    • Assist electrical engineers in troubleshooting various electrical components and systems of the machine.
  • Run wires and cables from components to junction boxes, main electrical panels and terminals:
    • Make wire lists and bundles.
  • Disassemble electrical systems on machines and reinstall, rewire and test machinery at customer facilities.
  • Perform installation, debugging, repair and other field service duties that require off‑site travel.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior and mid‑level assemblers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to provide feedback on designs and suggest improvements.

Salary range: $34–$40 per hour

Qualifications Education

Associates or better in Manufacturing Technology or related field.

Experience

Expert‑level ability to read and interpret complex schematics and technical drawings.

6–8 years experience in machining, machine building and performing machine and panel wiring.
