Production Department Manager

Arrow Finishing is seeking a Department Manager to lead our Laser and Handwork operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, and team performance in a fast‑paced aerospace, defense, and medical manufacturing environment. This position is Monday through Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of production employees and leaders
• Manage daily operations, scheduling, workflow, and departmental performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Partner with Production, Quality, Sales, and Estimating teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Oversee staffing, training, performance management, and succession planning
• Monitor department metrics, productivity, inventory, and profitability
• Support problem‑solving efforts and lead corrective actions when issues arise

• Manufacturing leadership experience with a proven ability to lead teams and drive results
• Strong operational knowledge of production, scheduling, quality systems, and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
• Ability to build accountability, develop employees, and foster a positive team culture
