Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual and CNC (Hurco) machining equipment such as mills, lathes, and drill presses.
Use CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360, Solid Works, Mastercam) to design and produce parts to precise specifications.
Create and send component drawings to third‑party machining as needed.
Operate in small batch and mixed production environments.
Perform welding and cutting tasks as required.
Fabricate and modify equipment, guards, and fixtures as needed.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations on equipment improvements.
Support equipment installations, startups, and modifications.
Document work in a CMMS (maintenance management system).
Assist with continuous improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

Positive, can‑do attitude.
Ability to design and machine end‑to‑end.
Experience with manual and CNC equipment.
Experience with welding and general fabrication.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
