Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CNC Mill Turn Operator for our 2nd shift. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines and ensuring the production of high-quality parts by performing accurate machine adjustments. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical inspection, and a keen eye for detail.

The candidate will be working with 5 Axis, Lathe, Calipers, Micrometers, Tool And Die, Mastercam, CMM, and Tooling.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
  • Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
  • Translate instructions into computer commands to ensure the machines can perform the correct function.
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
  • Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including wearing protective equipment and maintaining a clean workspace.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Mill Turn Operator or similar role in the engineering industry.
  • Proven experience with 5 Axis, Lathe, Calipers, Micrometers, Tool And Die, Mastercam, CMM, and Tooling.
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, mathematics, and technical schematics.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work overtime if necessary.
