Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool and make a difference for our patients and our community.
Float Pool RN Units- Med/Surg RN: care for patients in orthopedics, rehabilitation, oncology, cardiology, observation, medicine, neurology, surgical, trauma, burn, and postpartum.
- Progressive RN: care for progressive patients in cardiac, medicine, burn, trauma, neurology, and surgical.

Schedule
This position is straight evenings at 0.7 – 0.9 FTE (56-72 hours per pay period) with the specific FTE discussed at the time of interview based on departmental needs.
Weekend RotationWeekend requirements will include a rotation of every other or every third weekend, to be determined and discussed during the interview process to ensure alignment with unit needs and expectations.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or Associate Degree in Nursing and 1 year of RN experience
- Internal new graduate applicants can meet minimum requirements with an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
- CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and strong ability to work with a wide range of patients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire
- One year of acute care RN experience is preferred
