Qualifications &
Experience:
- Current and active RN or LPN/LVN license in Minnesota.
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organization skills with the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency protocols in educational environments.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Clear background check in accordance with district policies.
Responsibilities:
- Administer daily medications, manage chronic health conditions, and respond to student illnesses or injuries.
- Develop, document, and implement care plans for students with special medical needs.
- Serve as a key liaison between students, families, school staff, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality compliance.
- Support health education programs and contribute to the school’s overall wellness initiatives.
- Participate actively in emergency preparedness and health screenings.
