Qualifications &

Experience:

• Current and active RN or LPN/LVN license in Minnesota.
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency protocols in educational environments.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Clear background check in accordance with district policies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer daily medications, manage chronic health conditions, and respond to student illnesses or injuries.
• Develop, document, and implement care plans for students with special medical needs.
• Serve as a key liaison between students, families, school staff, and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality compliance.
• Support health education programs and contribute to the school’s overall wellness initiatives.
• Participate actively in emergency preparedness and health screenings.
