Job Summary

The Quality Control Scientist is responsible for performing and supporting a variety of QC testing and laboratory activities to ensure the quality and compliance of LIAISON products. This role involves routine testing, troubleshooting, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the QC laboratory.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform routine quality control testing of LIAISON products.
• Conduct QSET and wash buffer testing according to established protocols.
• Perform second checking of test results to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Document maintenance activities and report any deviations or issues.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the QC lab to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Organize and manage retains of materials for reference and compliance purposes
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues encountered during testing.
• Escalate unresolved problems to appropriate personnel with detailed documentation
• Participate in validation testing of new products and processes.
• Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QC function
• Assist in onboarding and training of new team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related science field required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related science field, preferred
• 1+ Years Experience in a quality control or laboratory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments and data analysis tools.

What we offer

The hiring range for this position is$61,000-$70,000 annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
