Territory Sales Manager – What This Role Is About

As a Territory Sales Manager
, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and strengthening Apollo Tires’ presence across a defined territory. This role combines strategic account management with proactive business development, requiring you to build strong relationships with dealers, fleet customers, distributors, and prospects while delivering sustainable and profitable growth.

The role is field-based and customer-focused, with approximately 60–70% travel
, making it ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys developing business opportunities, creating long-term partnerships, and delivering measurable commercial results.

What Will You Be Responsible For? Sales Growth & Territory Development
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for volume, revenue, and profitability.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Increase market penetration and expand Apollo Tires’ distribution network.
  • Drive sales across key product segments, including Passenger Car & Light Truck (PCLT) and Truck & Bus Radial (T ) tyres.
Account Management & Relationship Building
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, fleets, wholesalers, and key accounts.
  • Grow existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities to increase share of wallet.
  • Recruit and onboard new dealers and provide product and sales training where required.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and represent the Apollo Tires brand professionally.
Territory Planning & Execution
  • Plan and prioritize territory activities to maximize sales opportunities and customer engagement.
  • Use market intelligence, customer insights, and business data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Execute national and regional sales initiatives, pricing programs, and promotional campaigns.
Data & Performance Management
  • Utilize business tools such as Power BI, inventory reports, and sales data to support decision-making.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide reliable forecasts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer performance.
What Will You Bring to the Role?

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven sales professional who can combine strong relationship-building skills with a passion for delivering results.

Experience
  • 3–5 years' experience in the tyre industry, preferably within PCLT or commercial tyre sales.
  • Experience working for a tyre manufacturer and managing a sales territory.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.
Skills & Expertise
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of tyre products, specifications, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Effective planning, territory management, and organisational skills.
