WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
The Assoc. Territory Manager within our Abrasives – Automotive Aftermarket Sales team will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic growth plan for their respective territory. The individual will be held accountable for performing critical tasks that are customary components of sales administration. These tasks include but aren’t limited to time and territory management, activity tracking through the use of a Salesforce, establishing growth through conversion of competitive market share, while also establishing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
This position is a key growth position, and a great opportunity to learn all aspects of our business. In this position, the incumbent will travel a large, assigned geographical territory in support of our selling efforts. Time will be spent demonstrating and facilitating hands‑on training on the proper application and use of all products in Saint‑Gobain’s automotive aftermarket refinishing product portfolio.
THIS JOB FOR YOU?
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and managing medium to large customer accounts, supported by strong technical aptitude and a passion for the automotive refinishing industry. Candidates should possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities across a geographically assigned territory. A bachelor's degree is preferred; however, candidates with a high school diploma and 1 to 3 years of progressively responsible technical sales experience in automotive refinishing or a related field will also be considered.
Successful candidates will be self‑motivated, results‑oriented professionals who thrive in a collaborative team environment while demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong relationship‑building, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations, training sessions, and customer presentations.
Interested candidates should reside in a location that allows for effective coverage of territory. The greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area is highly preferred.

However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
