Your responsibilities and tasks
  • Creates an inspiring team environment with a culture of open communication.

  • Performs field service duties as a specialist and capable of performing all field service technician III tasks, including:
    • Provide troubleshooting support to improve machinery operation with respect to plant/refinery operation.
    • Proficiently train customers on the operation of the equipment.
    • Act as a mentor to junior technicians by providing on‑the‑job training, assuring work is completed correctly, and providing the branch manager feedback on performance and suggestions.
    • Respond to customer requests and field dispatches.
    • Meet with customers at site to discuss the nature of the service or repair.
    • Provide advanced technical support and perform advanced troubleshooting on compressor packages, electrical & control systems, and refrigeration systems.
    • Perform retrofitting of industrial control panels across multiple manufacturers.
    • Complete routine maintenance or repair in accordance with ANSI/IIAR-6 2019, where applicable.
    • Inspect machinery to confirm proper working order.
    • Provide preventative maintenance suggestions.
    • Discuss work completed with customers.
    • Submit all time sheets, expense reports (within 30 days), service tickets, start‑up reports, inspection reports, and other required paperwork within the required timeframe.
    • Provide after‑hours telephone troubleshooting support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Your profile and qualifications
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school certification in refrigeration or a similar field is preferred.
  • ANSI / IIAR-6 certification required or must obtain certification within 1 year.
  • RETA CIRO Certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial refrigeration.
  • Capability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of major components of a refrigeration system.
  • Advanced knowledge of screw and piston type compressors and their packages.
  • Advanced working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control schemes.
  • Advanced working knowledge of industrial control panels.
  • Ability to act as a trainer/mentor to junior field service technicians.
  • Ability to travel 90% of the time.
  • Typical base pay range: $56.00 – $67.00 per hour, with variations by location.
  • Eligibility for additional rewards such as discretionary bonus and/or equity awards.
  • Position is based in the United States; no visa or work sponsorship offered.
