Our customers are Public Safety, Government, Manufacturing, Mining, Education, Healthcare clients that value safety and innovation. We are a leader in providing Land Mobile Radio Communications, Video Surveillance, Access Control and other Unique Solutions to provide a safer more productive workplace for our customers. The position of Service Technician includes setup, programming, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of communication equipment including mobiles, base stations, repeaters, paging terminals, consoles, microwave links, and antenna systems. This requires superior technical, troubleshooting, and problem resolution skills.

• Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Setup, programming, and checkout of equipment
• Troubleshooting and repair of equipment to the component level
• Final checkout and training with customer
• Installation including grounding and optimization (40-foot maximum climbing height)
• Building and equipment maintenance, clean up, and inventory

Experience and Education – Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and ability required to successfully perform the job will be considered

• Two+ years’ experience with radio systems technology or a related field with emphasis on systems maintenance, trouble-shooting and programming
• Associate’s with major course work in Electronics, Communications Technology
• Ability to use various test equipment including system analyzer
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and fellow employees
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and move freely in the performance of the job
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, required to move 125 pounds from time to time

• Proficient computer skills

Work is performed in various settings at customer sites, communications tower sites and at our office locations. Travel is typically local for return on same day as departure, but occasional overnight scheduled trips for projects, training, or meetings. Travel to and from jobsites will be using a company supplied vehicle that is available as take-home vehicle once candidate is qualified for “on-call”.

• Valid Driver's license
• Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random (if applicable) Drug screening and Breath Alcohol Tests
