Software Engineer , .Net​/C#

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
• Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
• Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs
• Performs analysis on failures, proposes design changes, and encourages operational improvements
• Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront
• Takes feedback from code review and applies changes to meet standards
• Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures
• Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices
• Exhibits relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards
• Embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank’s technology transformation

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Three to five years of relevant experience
• Hands‑on experience building secure, high‑performance web applications and APIs using .NET/C#
• Strong proficiency in Agile development and Dev Ops practices
• Proven experience partnering with Product Managers and cross‑functional teams to define roadmaps, shape features, refine backlogs, and deliver user‑centric solutions
• Skilled in translating functional and non‑functional requirements into scalable system designs
• Deep understanding of architecture, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures
• Demonstrated leadership in resolving complex technical issues, mentoring engineers, and ensuring delivery of high‑quality software
• Experience with microservices architecture, including event‑driven and asynchronous patterns, containerization, service mesh, and observability tools
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker/Rancher, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable)
• Strong database skills in SQL, including data modeling and performance tuning; experience with Hibernate or similar frameworks
• Experience with testing frameworks preferably Selenium
• Java Front‑end development experience using React and JavaScript (Nice To Have)
