Site Coordinator - Vikings NFL FLAG (Blaine Area) (Creative Design)

The salary for this position is at $30.00 hourly. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of other benefits and earned time off that vary depending on part-time or full-time status.

• Arrive before team practices to set up fields, head table, and other equipment
• Direct players, coaches, parents and officials to their correct practice and game fields
• Troubleshoot any potential roster and scheduling issues
• Collect and report final scores from each set of games
• Clean up fields, head table, and other equipment following the conclusion of games
• Attend weekly virtual meetings during the season

Candidates must be available to work on the following dates during the Spring 2026 season (all Sundays):

• April 12
• April 19
• April 26
• May 3
• May 10
• May 17

• Assists in the implementation of sports programs which may include organizing, delivering and administering sports leagues, recreation programs and activities
• Ensures a high level of customer service which enhances the member, program participant and guest experience and satisfaction
• Assists in managing the day-to-day programing to ensure revenue, program goals, and expense targets are achieved
• Delivers sports programs directly to members and participants a portion of the time
• Provides work direction to sports staff when appropriate
• May assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and giving work direction to staff and volunteers

This position reports to the Sports Director/Sr. Sports Director who reports to the Executive Director. The incumbent works with branch and sports program teams, and other Association staff.

Required

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in sports programs (preferably some experience or knowledge in football)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage sports recreation program activities
• Knowledge of basic rules in sports recreation program activities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Creative thinker with a history of applying innovation in programming
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build community relationships
• Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to manage programs to a diverse population

Preferred

• Multi Lingual

• Must be able to carry flag football equipment from parking lot to assigned football fields
• Ability to travel locally to YMCA branches and Vikings NFL FLAG sites
