Compensation
Pay Range: $11.41 – $20.30 per hour. Additional compensation includes annual and quarterly performance bonuses or premiums under specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed and multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
Essential Job Functions- Drive a company vehicle to deliver parts and products to O’Reilly stores and the distribution center.
- Maintain a legal state driver’s license and meet the company’s driving eligibility requirements.
- Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the set route, deliver to the appropriate store, and maintain a daily city route manifest.
- Secure the fleet fuel card, vehicle, keys, and ensure the vehicle is locked and the fuel tank is filled at the end of the day.
- Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day.
- Provide an accident report if needed and report vehicle maintenance requirements immediately to the store manager.
- Ensure the designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest.
- Deliverations must be made according to schedule; any delays must be reported to the city delivery supervisor and/or stores remaining on the route.
- Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations and communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
- Clock in/out according to company policy and drive safely and defensively.
- Drive safely and defensively.
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18‑point record system.
- Desired:
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
