SR Break Manager

Central Transport, a leading Less‑Than‑Truckload carrier, is expanding its operations and looking for a dedicated logistics manager to oversee dock operations across our nationwide terminal network.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, 5:00p.m.–3:00a.m. Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year.

• Oversee dock operations, including loading, forklift traffic management, and proper picking/sortation of palletized freight.
• Monitor cube and weight of trailers to ensure proper load of carriers.
• Provide leadership and accountability to drivers, dock workers and dock hands.
• Track dock production, ensuring key performance indicator goals are met or exceeded.
• Record hours and overtime, maintaining accurate timekeeping.
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards.
• Ensure company operational model compliance and support a culture of excellence in product quality for internal and external customers.

• Experience managing a team, preferably in transportation operations.
• Thorough understanding of the LTL trucking industry.
• Prior management, dispatch and dock experience, preferably in LTL trucking.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees.
• Customer‑centered mindset and a desire to deliver excellence in service.
• High aptitude for technology and strong multi‑tasking abilities.
• Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work an average of 50hours per week, including nights, weekends and in inclement weather.
• Ability to work under tight time constraints in a high‑pressure environment with multiple priorities.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
