Driver WAV in Dakota

Carepool is transportation software built alongside the state of Wisconsin's disability and aging programs. We're making transportation accessible for everyone!

We're looking for drivers that have a WAV (wheelchair accessible van) and/or willing to drive one when ready. Drivers will have to take an online course. They also will have ambulatory rides. We're paying $45.00 per pickup and an additional $2.00 per mile after the first 4 miles. If using your own car as an ambulatory driver, the rate is $10 per ride plus $1.10 per mile after the first 5 miles.

It's similar to Uber, but with more assistance and care to the service that we call Rideshare+.

• Operate WAV and ambulatory rides as needed.
• Complete required online training/course.
• Provide safe, secure transportation and assist riders as appropriate.

• Excellent personality with the ability to read people and solve problems.
• 100% clean driving record (minor tickets allowed every 2-5 years).
• Must be at least 21 years old and have healthcare-specific experience.
• 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.

• With WAV: $45.00 per pickup plus $2.00 per mile after the first 4 miles.
