Compensation
Starting pay rate at $28 per hour and may be higher depending on experience. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
ScheduleMonday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour shift) with some overtime as needed.
Qualifications- Must hold a valid CDL A license.
- 1-3 years of commercial truck driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
- Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
- Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
- Ability to lift items that weigh over 50 lbs.
- A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery is a plus.
- Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
- Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
- Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
- Deliver materials to the customer, including assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material.
- Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
- Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Must adhere to all safety regulations, including proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE), including wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
