Warehouse Worker — Staffmark (Northlake, IL)

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Monday – Friday | 12 PM – 8:30 PM

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast‑paced warehouse environments.
• Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Unload, count, inspect, palletize, unitize, strap, kit, assemble, wrap, consolidate, put‑away, replenish, pick, pack, ship company goods as assigned.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of the above‑mentioned actions.
• Inspect inbound shipments and approve or deny receipt based on condition of goods received.
• Communicate errors or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Contribute to company goals in order processing for receipt and shipment.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
• Stay current on all warehouse training to promote a safe working environment.
• Notify management when goods are in inadequate condition for shipments.
• All other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must pass a drug screen and background investigation.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities to meet tight deadlines.
• Willing to work weekends and overtime during peak periods.

• Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Safely operate and control warehouse equipment and machinery.

Pay Range: $15.48 – $26.11 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Pack, seal, label materials/pallets for storing and shipping.
• Manually load/unload product.
• Wrap pallets using a wrap machine.
• Document and report damages or issues.

Additional Duties

• Operate manual pallet jack equipment.
• Clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift.

Minimum Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Understand instructions in the country’s official language.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Work in low temperatures (–20°F/–25°C) or high temperatures (100°F/37°C) while wearing PPE.
• Lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends.
• Comfortable with noise levels.
