Position: Sanitation Tech I - Night Shift

Overview

Our Sanitation Techs are a cornerstone to our success as a plant – ensuring a safe & clean facility, advancing processes, and pushing benchmarks for our Master Sanitation schedule. This role requires basic cleaning procedures, common plant auditing and the ability to learn and improve continuously. Candidates who enjoy variety and are driven by a sense of accomplishment will thrive on our team.

Must be willing to be boom lift/manlift certified, heights up to 30 ft.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) guidelines are adhered to
  • Follow cleaning procedures using established benchmarks and SSOPs
  • Monitor waste water production and reduction
  • Assist all production areas in sanitation practices
  • Washing all plant equipment as required
  • Ensure compliance with production and industry standards (USFDA, NOP Organic)
  • Process tasks under the Pest Management Action Plan
  • Participate in monthly internal plant audits and Continuous Improvement teams
Path for Success
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to pass in‑house certification tests for operation of scissor lifts and boom trucks
  • Basic math and computer skills required
  • The ability to communicate and understand verbal directions effectively and efficiently in the English language, both verbal and written
Desired Skills & Attributes
  • Team Player – works well as a member of a group
  • Detail Oriented – capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
  • Self‑Starter – inspired to perform without outside help
  • Experience – minimum 1 year in Janitorial or Sanitation
Shift

4 on/4 off, 6 PM–6:30 AM
