DescriptionOur Drivers receive direction from the Shift Supervisor, work closely with the Driving Team, and are accountable for the forklift and equipment required to perform daily tasks (safety, quality and production procedures). They communicate with team members across departments and may coordinate duties of new team members or those transitioning into the role.
- Operate forklifts safely and in accordance with plant forklift rules and regulations.
- Minimum of 6-12 months forklift experience.
- Attend and participate in crew transition meetings and shift pre-work meetings.
- Ensure all proper paperwork and materials are used (pallets, slip sheets, WIP paperwork, finished skid labeling paperwork) and stored correctly.
- Ensure product meets quality standards as set by management and Quality Assurance.
- Responsible for proper and safe charging of the forklift.
- Responsible for compliance with the facility's GMP program.
- Participate in Lean Initiatives and team meetings.
- Ensure all finished goods are properly labeled and staged for shipping.
- Maintain an accurate operator’s log and coordinate with the oncoming Line Feeder.
- Perform other duties as set forth by the Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor as needed.
- Perform safety checklists on forklifts and report/log any safety discrepancies with the Leadership Team.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
Shift: 4 on/4 off Days (7AM - 7:30PM)
